Sunday Sewday

Started out this morning sewing the binding on a quilt for a customer. I then made a trip to my local quilt shop dropping off 3 quilts for customers and picking up 2 to quilt. When I got home, I started working on my en Provence mystery quilt, again. I now have half of it completed. I'm slowly completing this top.

I went to a quilt show last week Saturday with my friend and picked up this awesome decal for my car. I'm sure I will get a lot of questions about it and I am hoping for some new customers too. Have to make sure I replenish my business cards in my car tomorrow morning.

My online quilt group is doing an orphan block challenge for the month of April. An orphan quilt block is a random block that doesn't have a home in a quilt. I don't have very many but I did have these stocking quilt blocks. 20 of them to be exact which was the perfect amount for a lap quilt.

I dug through my stash found some unbleached muslin for the sashing strips, green for the cornerstones and a candy cane print for the borders. These blocks were from a swap I participated in many years ago. I'm going to guess at least 5 years ago, if not more.

I really need to stop making tops and start quilting some of my own quilts. I think I have at least 5 of my own quilts waiting to be quilted. I'm off to load another customer quilt. Hope that you had a great Sunday Sewday!
